Material is field grey but of the colour more usual to that used by the Waffen SS, other unusual feature is its red linen or cotton lining, the stitching of which has come away down one side, otherwise the cap in pretty good condition and displays well.

M8928 - LUFTWAFFE TROPICAL WEBBING BELT AND BUCKLE.   Sold
A blue/grey tropical webbing belt, with scarce, "drooptail" early luftwaffe, alloy belt buckle, with maker logo to the rear of Paulmann Crone. Ludenscheid. The pebbled finish to the buckle and wreath is excellent, with just the eagle having wear to the highlights. M8237 - LUFTWAFFE SHIRT EAGLE.   Sold
A scarce luftwaffe tropical shirt eagle, which looks as if it was removed from a shirt with some force, as the surrounding tan cloth edges are torn and frayed, though the eagle and swastika in light grey thread are good. M5294 - LUFTWAFFE FLAK DOG-TAG FOR KASSEL.   Sold
A good, bright alloy oval ID disc to a luftwaffe Flak man, has serated centre so it can split into halves and punched with holes for a neck cord. Berlin. C2, also has a number 2 stamped on it possibly for size, there is no chinstrap but if worn with a oxygen mask you would not need one, a very rare item in great condition.

A large size infantry NCO visor cap, of field grey material piped in white, has dark green headband, black leather chinstrap and bright alloy insignia. Cap is of the early saucer shape but has had its wire removed by the owner to give the popular crusher style shape of the period when worn. Interior has a good leather sweatband and brown fake silk lining with celuloid diamond panel, with the maker details worn away. This is a really nice cap but it has suffered from moth, which has left a hole in the rear of the cap but this is hidden by the fold at the back, so not visible when displayed and does not detract from the look but I have adjusted the price to account for this.

M8390 - HJ WATER BOTTLE.   £25
A fair condition, early Hitler Youth water bottle, being smaller than the standard army bottle, otherwise it is of the same design, with alloy screw top, felt cover, brown leather harness and metal sprung clip to attach to a D ring, felt has a few holes and leather a little dry but all complete.

A zinc/alloy, oval shaped indentity disc, recovered from the area of Calais, it is almost complete but has lost a small part of one half through fire, as the edge is melted and blackened on the rear, the stamped markings are "JNF. GESCH. ERS. KP.86" also with a "O" for blood group and "5210" for his number, the markings appear to indicate a member of a replacement company of artillery, for a infantry support unit, interesting item from the 1944 battles in france.
