M9345 - YUGOSLAV M1948 MAUSER KNIFE BAYONET.   £45
A yugoslav made version of the german K98 knife bayonet, having minor variations to the original, this is the M1948 pattern bayonet.

M8449 - WW11 3RD PATT FAIRBURN SYKES FIGHTING KNIFE.   £185
A wartime 3rd patt FS fighting knife, all blued finish, unusual in having "Shefield England" marked along the blade, rather than maker mark stamped on the cross guard, complete with good condition leather scabbard of recent manufacture but correct original issue type.

M9537 - WW1 RUSSIAN BAYONET USED BY GERMANS   Sold
A WW1 russian bayonet, captured and reissued by the germans with their own converted scabbard.

M8788 - WW1 GERMAN ERSATZ BAYONET.   £55
A decent, all steel construction, ersatz bayonet, production started in 1915 due to german material shortages, the plain steel hilts had a painted finish but this has worn away, blade is good and undamaged and has an imperial acceptance stamp, just missing its scabbard.

M9286 - WW1 GERMAN CHILDS SIZE OFFICERS SWORD   £145
Rare survivor, a small, childs sized version of a Imperial german officer, I am thinking its WW1 period but it may be earlier, sword is complete with its bright metal scabbard with hanger ring, the sword guard has most of its gilt finish intact and this and the grip are in good order, the blade is pretty good for a fragile item, really the scabbard has suffered most and has suffered bends in three places, which after being straightened has left creases in it but to have survived over 100 years is almost a miracle.

M8834 - WW1 GERMAN BUTCHER BAYONET.   £165
A good example of the S98/05 patt "Butcher" bayonet, with good wood grips and a decent steel scabbard, the good condition blade is maker marked to Waffenfabrik Mauser A.G. and the spine has its acceptance stamp and also the kings crown and issue date of 1916.

M9164 - U.S. KRAG RIFLE BAYONET.   £245
Scarce Springfield Arsenal made, model 1898 knife bayonet, for the american Krag rifle, has bright steel blade, wood grips and is complete with its blued steel scabbard, which has a swivel mounted steel clip-on belt hanger.

M9338 - SWISS M1918 BAYONET.   £100
A swiss M1918 pattern bayonet, a late version of the sig 1889 pattern type, as usual with the swiss, the bayonet is made to a very high quality, much higher than it required to be.

M9339 - SWEDISH M1896 PATT BAYONET.   £45
A good condition swedish made M1896 pattern bayonet, unusual in being completely all steel made, even the grip, bayonet was produced to fit german made mauser rifle that sweden bought in 1896 but looks much more modern.

M9638 - SS MANS DAGGER WITH HANGER   Sold
A later issue SS mans dagger, complete with vertical hanger, which is worn but still intact, apart from missing hilt strap. Dagger is in good condition, black grip is undamaged and has its eagle & runes disc in place, hilt fittings also good with no district mark to cross guard, blade is clean, has good etched motto to front and rear has the SS mark, over the maker code 188/36, the 36 should be the year of production and under that the RZM mark used for later issue daggers.

M9340 - SPANISH M1941 BOLO BAYONET.   £45
A good, spanish M1941 bayonet with its distinctive, bright steel "Bolo" shaped blade and chequered wood grips to the hilt, the rifle fitting on the hilt having an adaptor to enable it to be fitted to later rifles and keep it in service.

M8790 - SPANISH 1941 BOLO BAYONET WITH ADAPTOR.   £65
A good, model 1941, spanish bayonet with the well known "Bolo" blade, with its metal scabbard and chequered wood grips, also comes with the adaptor that enables it to be fitted to later 43 & 44 model rifles.

M9467 - SA MANS DAGGER   £600
A fine condition SA man's dagger, with excellent enamel finished scabbard and very clean hilt fittings and wood grip, the blade is very good with crisp motto and has been kept oiled, blade also has the scarce diamond maker logo of Rich & Hartkopf, cross guard has district stamp (wf) and on the underside and number 2 benchmark stamp, very tidy dagger.

M8318 - RUSSIAN NAVAL OFFICERS DAGGER STRAPS.   £55
A matched pair of naval officers dagger hanger straps, though infact russian in origin, they are an exact match for the german wartime KM dagger straps, in black material with gilt alloy fittings, the only difference being, instead of lion heads on the buckles, they have anchors, they even have the chain & hook to the shorter strap.

M8613 - ROYAL NAVY OFFICERS SWORD AND COVER.   £950
Excellent naval officers sword, complete with oilskin protective cover. Sword is by Wilkinson, with a makers shield to the top brass section of the scabbard, which states "Wilkinson Gun & Sword Maker. Pall Mall. London" the other side of this is a large, fine three letter monogram, possibly the original owner, as there is also another name on the sword lock plate "P.J.Hinton" which bears no relation, so could be the 2nd owner. The sword is of the 1827 pattern, with gilt & blue sword knott and finely etched blade of fouled anchor, royal crest and Prince or Wales feathers, under which is a banner with "By Apointment". There is a number to the spine "16296" which the wilkinson records give the year of manufacture as 1869, so a victorian sword that I suspect has also also seen service in the first war and possibly later, a very fine item and worthy of research.

M9343 - PORTUGUESE M1904 BAYONET.   £40
A good condition M1904 portuguese mauser rifle bayonet, will fit the german wartime mauser K98 that portugal were supplied with during the war.

M9465 - LUFTWAFFE OFFICERS DRESS SWORD   Sold

M8275 - LUFTWAFFE OFFICERS DAGGER WITH KNOTT.   £455
A good luftwaffe officers 2nd pattern dagger with nice dark orange, wire bound grip and is complete with its dress knott. The dagger has a good, undamged blade, with the "King" logo of dagger maker SMF, that is Stocker & Co of Solingen, There is frayed wear to the dress knott but its nice that everything is original ot this dagger, nice item.

M9357 - LUFTWAFFE OFFICERS 2ND PATT DAGGER.   £475
A good condition luftwaffe, 2nd pattern officers dagger & scabbard, having the white grip, swastika pommel and very nicely detailed eagle cross guard, the blade is clean with visible cross grain and full maker logo of F.W.Holler. Scabbard has its original dark patina finish.

A good 2nd pattern luftwaffe officers dress dagger, good bright alloy fittings to hilt with yellow, wired bound grip, clean, undamged blade, with full maker logo for Karl Eickhorn, complete with its metal scabbard and an original silver cord dress knott.

M9493 - LUFTWAFFE OFFICERS 1ST PATT DAGGER   £650
A very nice 1st pattern luftwaffe officers dagger, being the early nickle version, rather than the later alloy. Metalwork to the hilt with its inset bronze swastika's is good if a little dirty, leather binding to grip is undamaged with just some loss of its blue/grey colour, leather on the scabbard is excellent with no wear, dagger blade is good, full length with luftwaffe acceptance stamp and the king logo of maker SMF (Stocker & Co) a nice sleepy dagger.

M9125 - KYHBER KNIFE AND SCABBARD.   £100
A large native Kyhber knife, complete with its hard shell scabbard, grip is horn with finely made metal fittings, the blade is very well made and sharp, blade is quite deep at the hilt, the spine staying straight and the cutting edge tapering to a fine point.

M8567 - KNIFE NAMED TO GERMAN PARA.   £105
A small military issue clasp knife with just a single blade, the steel blade is marked one side "Feldw.E.Hermet" and on the other "Fj.Rgt. 2. 3.1." so named to a german para of Falschirmjager Regt 2, the last numbers of 3 & 1 are very small and possibly relate to something like 2nd company, 1st section ?. Knife has dark wood grips and is unusual in that the tension spring for the blade has been removed, this looks deliberate, as now the blade can be swung out and locked with one hand and unlocked and folded in the same fashion. Interesting knife and the para has not been researched.

M9466 - KM OFFICERS DAGGER WITH KNOTT   Sold
A good, sleepy naval officers dagger, complete with its bullion dress knott, which has never been removed and has always been there, brass scabbard and hilt fittings are good, as is the white grip. A czech made mauser knife bayonet, reissued for use by Israel as the VZ24 pattern and has the star stamp.

M8433 - GERMAN WW1 FIGHTING KNIFE,   £185
A good condition german trench knife, with blackened wood grips, steel scabbard with faint traces of the paint finish, decent leather belt loop and strap for the hilt, the knifes bright steel blade is maker marked to Gottlieb Hammesfahr and has a military acceptance stamp to the other side, quite tidy for its age, a nice knife.

M9348 - GERMAN MAUSER, SHORT PARADE BAYONET.   £110

Bayonet is the short version of the two types of parade bayonet and has good, bright nickle finish to hilt fittings, with black chequered grips. Blade has great polished finish and is maker marked with logo for Ernst Pack.

M9380 - GERMAN K98 BAYONET CONVERTED TO FIGHTING KNIFE.   £200
Excellent coversion of a german K98 bayonet into a fighting knife, with all bayonet fittings removed and the shortened blade having a bowie shaped finish. The original steel scabbard has been expertly shortened and has been fitted with a british webbing frog, so assume this to be a captured german item.

M8791 - GERMAN BUTCHER BAYONET.   £100
A good S98/05 model bayonet, well known as the "Butcher" bayonet due to its blade shape, this is a tidy example with good wood grips, clean blade and decent metal scabbard, though having some dents. Unusual feature is that there are no visible issue/date markings or maker marks, just two tiny Imperial acceptance stamps to the pommel. This may be a WW1 bayonet that has been reissued, possibly in the Weimar period.

M8848 - GERMAN ARMY OFFICERS DAGGER BY ALCOSO.   £385
A nice condition army officers dagger with good silvered finish metal scabbard, the dagger has early plated fittings with much original finish remaining and very good eagle to the crossguard, dagger grip is dark orange with just one tiny hairline crack. A french M1874 model bayonet with scabbard, for the Gras 1874 rifle, bayonet has wood grips, hook quillon & brass pommel, the blade being the unusual "T" section, the spine of which has the arsenal name & date of "St.Etienne. 1877" etched upon it.

M7924 - EARLY KM OFFICERS DAGGER.   £450
A good, all brass construction kriegsmarine officers dagger, maker marked with the logo of Paul Weyersberg & Co on the good condition blade that is etched with the naval furled anchor design, has realy heavy brass scabbard with most of its laquered gilt finish intact, the dagger grip looks like ivory but is not, the hilt fittings design by this company make it very likely this is an imperial navy dagger, that has had the crown pommel replaced by the nazi eagle pommel, which officers often did, rather than buy new daggers, a very nice early dagger by a good maker.

M9608 - EARLY EICKHORN SS DAGGER AND HANGER   Sold
Early SS dagger with nickle silver fittings and black anodised scabbard, complete with its original leather, vertical hanger, which is fully RZM stamped. Dagger has excellent black grip with no splits or chips and very nice silver, inset eagle, the blade has very good cross grained finish, with motto to front, rear of blade has the Eickhorn maker logo close to cross guard, denoting this blade had a Rohm dedication and the owner has returned it to the factory to have it removed and be refinished with cross graining, underside of the cross guard has a number 3 stamp, the Eickhorn factory benchmark and on the side, a roman numeral one district stamp, only found on early daggers, just an excellent all round dagger.

M9327 - CANADIAN ROSS BAYONET.   £185
First war canadian Ross bayonet, this is the type with the blade converted in the field in 1915 to a more defined point, to enable better penetration, otherwise it is the regular 07 pattern with its leather scabbard & frog, all in good condition.

M9162 - BUTCHER BAYONET WITH DOUBLE MAKER MARKS.   £145
A 1915 dated german "butcher" S98/05 patt bayonet, standard type with all steel scabbard, hilt having wood grips, the distinctive shaped blade is bright steel and unusual in having been maker marked both sides, each being different.

M8589 - BRITISH WILKINSON 07 PATT BAYONET, 1913 ISSUE.   £125
A very good condition 07 pattern, long bladed bayonet, for the SMLE rifle of the first war, the excellent blade is stamped 07 and has an issued date stamp of 1913, also maker stamped Wilkinson, the blued steel hilt has very good wood grips. M9168 - BRITISH MARTINI HENRY BAYONET.   £275

M9474 - BRITISH ARTILLERY OFFICERS SWORD   Sold
A british 1821 pattern, artillery officers sword, the serial number of which dates it to around 1899, made by Henry Wilkinson and has the rare "patent solid hilt" an expensive option preferred by frontline officers. Blade is finely etched with the artillery scrollwork and victorian crown, also includes the owners family crest and his monogram, sword would have seen service during the Boer War. Sadly the sword has not been cared for and though the blade is in good shape, the three bar hilt guard and metal scabbard which look to have had the chemical browning finish for use in the Boer War, this has been left to gather light surface rust, mostly to the hilt guard. Cleaning has not been attempted and it is in as found condition.

M9323 - BRITISH 1898 BAYONET CONVERSION.   £95
A conversion of the 1898 pattern british sword bayonet for the Martini Henry rifle, the blade and scabbard have been shortened, mainly for reissue to cadets issued with the Martini Henry. The Mk11 was the bayonet for the Long Lee Enfield rifle and is a fine example.

M9539 - BRITISH 1887 PATTERN BAYONET   Sold
A very good condition pattern 1887, Mk111 british bayonet, for the Martini Henry rifle, its good leather scabbard having brass fittings rather than the more usual steel, the bayonet has the long plain blade with no fuller and issue stamp for 1889, with various inspection stamps to ricasso and blade back edge, hilt grip is of the plastic like compressed leather and cross guard has the stepped forward muzzle ring.

M9540 - BRITISH 1853 SOCKET BAYONET AND SCABBARD   Sold
British pattern 1853 socket bayonet for the patt53 Enfield rifle, complete with its Mk111 scabbard introduced in 1866, leather with brass fittings, many of these early bayonets were bushed and reissued for the Martini Henry rifle, but this is still in original form, bayonet & scabbard both have the WD and arrow stamp.
