M5624 - WANDERER FACTORY M34 HELMET WITH LOGO.   Sold
A very good ex fire police M34 civil helmet, reissued to the german Wanderer factory which produced many vehicles for the german armed forces during the war, it has a all black finish with the factory logo to the front and is complete with good leather liner & chinstrap assembly.

M9153 - RELIC M38 PARA HELMET SHELL.   £750
A relic M38 german para helmet shell, which although it has corroded through in a couple of area's, is unusual in still having patches of very good paint finish both inside and out. A good display item that was recovered from the marshes around Carentan in normandy some years ago.

M9152 - RELIC M38 PARA HELMET SHELL WITH BULLET HOLE.   £750
Original german M38 para helmet shell, recovered from the Carentan area in normandy, shell is quite sound, though all paint has been lost and it has a bullet hole to one side, historic item.

M9065 - NAMED M42 HELMET WITH OWNERS SOLDBUCH.   Sold
Very interesting M42 late war helmet with wire attachments for camo fittings and still has its dark green paint finish. Not only does it have its owners name and unit details hand painted inside the shell, but the helmet comes with the owners Soldbuch, which shows he joined his unit in 1944, when it had moved to the russian front, then later in january 1945 he got a gunshot wound which brought him out of the fighting and a wound badge, which finished the war for him. Helmet with its good liner and chinstrap is a rare survivor from the russian front, like its owner.

M7966 - M42 RELIC SHELL WITH RIECHSBAHN DECAL.   Sold
A good relic M42 helmet shell with what look like concussion cracks and a worn Riechsbahn (german railways) decal to the left side, helmet has lost its liner assembly & chinstrap and most of its paint finish, decal is pretty well washed out but you can still tell what it is. Possibly a helmet used by the railway security guards, unusual relic.

M9192 - M42 ARMY HELMET WITH CHICKENWIRE COVER.   £695
A fairly late issue M42 army helmet, with good dark, combat green finish and having an original chickenwire camo cover in place, used to attach camo material as required, has a very good leather liner assembly but is missing its chinstrap, medium size.

M9190 - M40 SINGLE DECAL ARMY HELMET WITH GREEN CAMO.   £550
Army single decal M40 helmet, has a single green colour camo applied over the factory dark green paint finish, that has been painted around the single army eagle decal, which is around 60% complete. Helmet has a good leather liner assembly and is complete with its chinstrap, size medium to large.

M9356 - M40 DOUBLE DECAL ARMY HELMET.   £775
A good double decal M40 army helmet, with very good paint finish, having just a few rubbed area's, the army eagle decal is about 85%, the national shield a little more worn at about 75%, helmet has a very good leather liner assembly and original chinstrap. The M40 helmet not often seen with double decals, this looks to be an early issue with brass liner rivets as used on the M35.

M9189 - M40 ARMY SINGLE DECAL COMBAT HELMET.   £650
A pretty nice M40 combat helmet, with single army eagle decal, that is scuffed and around 85% to 90% complete, this was a double decal helmet but the national shield decal has been painted over but the outline is still visible, the combat green paint finish is very intact and good, shell is fitted with a good leather liner assembly, though is missing its chinstrap, size is small to medium.

M8961 - M35 COMBAT HELMET WITH WIRE TRACES.   Sold
A good M35 combat helmet in large size with dark green paint finish, which is a bit scruffy but has an interesting feature, in that on the crown of the shell you can make out the pattern trace left by it having at some point a chickenwire camo cover, the wire of which has rubbed through the paint. Inside it is tidy with a good leather liner, though missing its chinstrap and has the owners name, hand painted in white to the rear lip.

M5549 - M34 HELMET FOR "HENSCHEL" TIGER FACTORY.   Sold
A good ex fire police, reissued M34 helmet in all black paint finish with the factory eagle logo to the front for Henschel, german military vehicle & panzer producers and maker of the famous TIGER TANK, these reissued helmets were used by the fire watcher & security teams at the factory during the war, it is in very good general condition and has a good liner/chinstrap assembly.

M9079 - LUFTWAFFE DOUBLE DECAL FIRE HELMET.   £550
A very good and scarce luftwaffe fire fighters helmet, the helmet with its comb over the shell in blue/grey paint finish, has excellent double decals, with the eagle being the early drooptail type, has good liner and chinstrap and is complete with its leather neck guard flap. These helmets were used by the fire teams on luftwaffe airfields.

M9240 - LUFTSCHUTZ GLADIATOR STYLE HELMET.   £195
Almost mint and never issued Luftshutz helmet in the "gladiator" style, dark blue paint finish with excellent winged decal to the front, interior complete, with string for the liner leaves, never been threaded through them and still tied in a bunch ready for use. Excellent example of the type.

M9103 - LUFTSCHUTZ CIVIL DEFENCE HELMET.   £85
A "Gladiator" style Luftschutz helmet in unusual black finish (most are blue) with some light surface rust, has winged decal to the front and is around 95% complete, has its liner assembly but in worn condition, with broken chinstrap.

M8467 - FIRE POLICE HELMET WITH LEATHER SKIRT.   £155
A very good condition, helmet of the National Fire Protection Police, with full leather neck skirt and double Y pattern chinstrap assembly to the full leather liner, did have a single decal on the black painted shell but this has been removed, possibly for postwar use, good to have its full leather neck skirt, often removed, very nice item.

M9012 - DOUBLE DECAL FIRE POLICE HELMET.   £200
An all black finished civil defence helmet, with double decals for the fire police, the decals are pretty good with just the usual scuffs & scratches, helmet has a good liner assembly and a very good chinstrap, nice early helmet.

M8921 - CAPTURED ADRIAN HELMET, LUFTSCHUTZ MARKED.   £200
Interesting use of a captured french Adrian helmet, large size, reissued with a nice Luftshutz decal to the front over the area where the french formation badge has been removed, for civil defence use, the original french green paint finish has been left intact. Unusual period feature is that the inner liner pads have been covered with zeltbahn splinter pattern, camo material, though one is missing, not seen this done before.

M3635 - AUSTRIAN M16 ARMY TRANS/HELMET WITH CZECH LINER.   £495
A good, single decal army transistional helmet, based on the WW1 Austrian combat helmet, which had already been reissued to the czech army, with repaint and a new liner assembly, then when the germans took over in 1939, the helmet was reissued again to the army by the simple means of adding a army decal, so it has quite a history. The excellent czech paint finish is a little more grey than the german colour but is quite close, the decal is in good order with only slight scuffs, the good czech leather liner is almost identical the german M31 and has a very good chinstrap. An interesting helmet compared to the normal german trans/ types.
