M5624 - WANDERER FACTORY M34 HELMET WITH LOGO.   £85
A very good ex fire police M34 civil helmet, reissued to the german Wanderer factory which produced many vehicles for the german armed forces during the war, it has a all black finish with the factory logo to the front and is complete with good leather liner & chinstrap assembly.

M8875 - WAFFEN SS M40 COMBAT HELMET.   Sold
A M40 combat helmet in large size, was a Waffen-SS double decal type but the swastika shield decal has been mostly removed as per wartime regulations, just leaving the SS runes decal, which is approx 75% intact. Helmet has a pretty good dark green paint finish. Liner is well worn & sweat stained around the headband area but is otherwise very good, with just its string and the chinstrap missing, one feature is some folded german newspaper lining the crown inside the liner which I have not attemped to remove.

M9013 - WAFFEN SS M35 DOUBLE DECAL RELIC SHELL.   Sold
A relic but very sound M35 helmet shell, having Waffen SS double decals and having been shot through by various calibre rounds. Still has good shape and looks to have been left in the elements for some time, the decals are still quite visible, though the paint finish is all but gone, nothing left inside the shell, just one liner rivet still in place. Makes quite a display item even though its been used for target practice, possible it was a grave marker at one time and was recovered from the east.

M8279 - SINGLE DECAL ARMY M35 HELMET.   £250
A fairly small size M35 combat helmet, with single army decal, which has approx 60% of the decal intact, most of the dark combat green finsh is there but worn through in places, the liner assembly is intact with the leather heavily stained and worn, a decent early helmet at a pretty low price.

M5623 - NSU M34 FACTORY HELMET WITH LOGO.   £75
A good ex fire police M34 civil helmet, reissued to the NSU factory for its fire watch & security squads, has an all black paint finish with the famous NSU logo to the front, has complete leather liner and double chinstrap assembly. NSU produced many military motorcycles during the war and also were the makers of the Kettenkrad halftrack motorcycle.

M7966 - M42 RELIC SHELL WITH RIECHSBAHN DECAL.   £100
A good relic M42 helmet shell with what look like concussion cracks and a worn Riechsbahn (german railways) decal to the left side, helmet has lost its liner assembly & chinstrap and most of its paint finish, decal is pretty well washed out but you can still tell what it is. Possibly a helmet used by the railway security guards, unusual relic.

M8073 - M40 COMBAT HELMET, CAMO FINISH OVER D/DECALS.   £400
Interesting M40 combat helmet, the original dark paint finish of which has been over painted with dark sand vehicle paint, helmet has double decals but these have also been painted over, though through wear the national shield is showing through faintly but am unable to make out the other decal which maybe luftwaffe, a few small area's of the camo paint have chipped off, revealing the original dark finish, which remains untouched to the interior, it has a worn but good leather liner and chinstrap and is large size, a very nice helmet.

M8961 - M35 COMBAT HELMET WITH WIRE TRACES.   £400
A good M35 combat helmet in large size with dark green paint finish, which is a bit scruffy but has an interesting feature, in that on the crown of the shell you can make out the pattern trace left by it having at some point a chickenwire camo cover, the wire of which has rubbed through the paint. Inside it is tidy with a good leather liner, though missing its chinstrap and has the owners name, hand painted in white to the rear lip.

M8915 - M35 ARMY DOUBLE DECAL COMBAT HELMET.   £870
A large size, army double decal M35 combat helmet, has dark green paint finish, mostly intact, the eagle decal is approx 85% complete, the national shield decal about 90% complete, the liner assembly is good with a little damage to a couple of the tongues, chinstrap is missing and there is a small bullet hole in the rear skirt just to add a little more interest to a really good helmet.

M5549 - M34 HELMET FOR "HENSCHEL" TIGER FACTORY.   £175
A good ex fire police, reissued M34 helmet in all black paint finish with the factory eagle logo to the front for Henschel, german military vehicle & panzer producers and maker of the famous TIGER TANK, these reissued helmets were used by the fire watcher & security teams at the factory during the war, it is in very good general condition and has a good liner/chinstrap assembly.

M4725 - M34 CIVIL DEFENCE HELMET.   £85
A good steel M34, civil defence helmet, with the double vent holes each side, also known as the civic "curved dip" from the shape, mostly used by the Luftschultz but also by police unit, helmet has all its dark blue/grey paint finish with only minor scuffs, the leather liner is pretty worn but mostly intact, no markings or decals, just a good plain helmet.

M8914 - LUFTWAFFE DOUBLE DECAL AFRIKA KORPS HELMET.   Sold
A M35 combat helmet in desert vehicle sand paint finish and having luftwaffe double decals, which have been carefully painted around and are both about 90% complete, has its original liner but in very sweat stained and delicate condition, has a chinstrap but this is a later addition. Early helmets like this, used by luftwaffe Afrika Korps ground & flak troops in the desert were camo painted using the sand colour vehicle paint supplied to them in the field and was also used for their equipment like gasmask cans etc.

M9031 - JUNKERS FACTORY HELMET.   £185
A black finished civil defence pattern helmet, with a very good, original Junkers aircraft factory logo to the side. These helmets were issued to fire & security teams at the various Junkers factories. Has a good liner & chinstrap assembly, nice untouched helmet.

M8467 - FIRE POLICE HELMET WITH LEATHER SKIRT.   £175
A very good condition, helmet of the National Fire Protection Police, with full leather neck skirt and double Y pattern chinstrap assembly to the full leather liner, did have a single decal on the black painted shell but this has been removed, possibly for postwar use, good to have its full leather neck skirt, often removed, very nice item.

M9012 - DOUBLE DECAL FIRE POLICE HELMET.   £200
An all black finished civil defence helmet, with double decals for the fire police, the decals are pretty good with just the usual scuffs & scratches, helmet has a good liner assembly and a very good chinstrap, nice early helmet.

M8921 - CAPTURED ADRIAN HELMET, LUFTSCHUTZ MARKED.   £200
Interesting use of a captured french Adrian helmet, large size, reissued with a nice Luftshutz decal to the front over the area where the french formation badge has been removed, for civil defence use, the original french green paint finish has been left intact. Unusual period feature is that the inner liner pads have been covered with zeltbahn splinter pattern, camo material, though one is missing, not seen this done before.

M3635 - AUSTRIAN M16 ARMY TRANS/HELMET WITH CZECH LINER.   £495
A good, single decal army transistional helmet, based on the WW1 Austrian combat helmet, which had already been reissued to the czech army, with repaint and a new liner assembly, then when the germans took over in 1939, the helmet was reissued again to the army by the simple means of adding a army decal, so it has quite a history. The excellent czech paint finish is a little more grey than the german colour but is quite close, the decal is in good order with only slight scuffs, the good czech leather liner is almost identical the german M31 and has a very good chinstrap. An interesting helmet compared to the normal german trans/ types.

M8913 - ARMY M35 DOUBLE DECAL AFRIKA KORPS HELMET.   Sold
A M35 combat helmet, over painted with sand camo paint and with army double decals, carefully painted around, the national shield being about 95% complete and the eagle decal possibly 70% but its difficult to tell, as someone has dabbed some silver paint on it (to "improve" it) otherwise the sand paint finish is good, just rubbed through to the crown where it catches all the wear in use. The liner is intact and though sweat stained is good, just missing its string and the chinstrap has gone. The sand camo paint used is that which was supplied for use on the vehicles & tanks of the Afrika Korps and it was common practice just to over paint the original factory finish of the helmet.
